‘Rachel has elicited some truly amazing unsolicited responses from delegates on the ‘Feel the Fear and do it anyway’ programmes here at the University of Hull. Ranging from ‘a real inspiration’ to ‘Rachel really inspires confidence’ these comments are just a small reflection of the energy and enthusiasm she has brought to the programme. Rachel also inspires confidence through her ability to amend activities to suit specific audiences, her post event engagement with delegates and her preparation and delivery. I am delighted that Rachel is working with the University of Hull on this inspirational programme.’
Martha Kember – Staff Development Manager, University of Hull
Goole High School ran a pilot “Feel the Fear” project with 6th Form Health & Social Care students over 2 days. Prior to their participation, these students were demonstrating a lack of motivation and drive to independently learn as well as contribute in group work. All students participated and thoroughly enjoyed the practical exercises, discussion and the opportunity to participate in a project within an adult environment. These students reported positive outcomes following the project in terms of taking responsibility, dealing with their emotions, applying the tools and techniques learnt to support their independent learning and success at AS and A Level studies.
The Year 13 students have all received their A Level results now and have all been successful in their choice of University and have the skills now to progress, taking control and responsibility for their future.

The ‘Feel the Fear’ course has proved extremely beneficial for our clients who have enjoyed Rachel’s style of delivery which has allowed them to ‘Do It Anyway’. Staff who have also been on the course have said that they found it ‘quite liberating’. We look forward to our continued work with ‘I Can Handle It’.
